Brooklyn Attitude beauty salon thinks pink
Brooklyn Attitude Hair and Body salon is pleased to help fight breast
cancer in a truly creative way. This October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month,
the salon has teamed up with Hair Treats Hair Extensions to host the second annual
Brooklyn Attitude Thinks Pink fundraiser. Make an appointment to visit the
salon, and for a minimum $10 cash or check donation, stylists will put in a hot
pink Hair Treats double loop hair extension for you. Monies raised will go to the
Susan G. Komen Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign, which supports
life-saving research, education, screenings, and treatment programs in the
fight to end breast cancer forever.
“Many people don't need a reminder like Breast Cancer
Awareness Month,” said Glenn
and Mary Ann Guerriero, the salon owners. “Each year, day, hour, minute, and second, someone is affected by this
disease. As beauty-makers, we at Brooklyn Attitude take great pride in the power we have to
change a person’s self-esteem, and in October, we hope to change a person’s
life.”
Flaunting a pink lock for the cure is a wildly easy way to get involved. The Guerrieros said they want to make a difference now, and they challenge everyone to help save someone's life.
