Franklin Community Center is putting on a special fundraiser Thurs., Oct. 11 to benefit its after-school program. Project Lift University will be an evening of dinner, drinks, silent auctions, and signing up for special classes to be taught by local professionals who will donate their time. When attendees sign up for these classes, their “registration” fee goes straight to Project Lift.

The academic offerings include such adventures as a kids’ fishing class with Saratoga Bait and Tackle, and an All Day Brewing Experience with Davidson Brothers Brewery. With a variety of classes, Project Lift hopes to appeal to everyone and raise the funds the evening netted last year.
