Beer connoisseurs will have good reason to toast one another Sat., Oct. 13 at the Malta Drive-In, 2785 Rte. 9, Malta. From 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. will be the celebration of Saratoga.com’s Oktobeerfest 2012, a day filled with 27 different German and seasonal craft beers. You will also get German and seasonal food, live music, and the gorgeous fall foliage of Saratoga County. If you want a safe ride home, consider the advanced carload tickets and receive a complimentary mug. According to the promoters, there’s no limit as to how many people you can fit in your car, van, U-Haul, RV, or school bus. Entrance tickets range from $5 to $25, and the festival is only for those 21 and older. Each $5 drink ticket is redeemable for a full beer. Note the site says cash only for the beers—no credit cards.
