Palace Theatre hosts more than 11,000 fans over weekend

Four sold out shows - Kevin James, Josh Groban and Dave Chappelle Make Stops at the Palace - drew 11,000 fans

Albany – The Palace Theatre hosted four sold out shows this past weekend. Friday night, comedian Kevin James returned to the Palace to perform to a sold out crowd of over 2,800 fans.

Saturday night, multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban, made his first-ever appearance at the sold-out Palace on his tour in support of his new album ‘Stages’.

Groban’s Saturday night concert was followed by two sold-out performances with comedian Dave Chappelle and special guests on Sunday evening.

“This was a record-setting weekend for us here at the Palace. Many fans visited our beautiful theatre - some for the first time,” commented Holly Brown, Executive Director of the Palace Theatre.
