Also sponsoring some of the events are Cudney’s Cleaners, Impressions of Saratoga, Lifestyles, Gaffney’s, Spoken Boutique, G. Willikers, and Stewart’s Shops. The events would not be possible without the support and participation from many Downtown Business Association members as well.
The Fall Festival, a celebration of autumn and Halloween, will kick off on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the City Center where we will also be announcing the winner of our “Create Your Own Costume” coloring contest.
The fun will continue all day Saturday throughout downtown Saratoga Springs, including the pumpkin roll down Caroline Street, a rock climbing wall, petting zoo and pony rides, pumpkin decorating, face painting, balloon animals, traveling magicians, “Sparkles” the Tall Juggler, a costume parade, clowns, fun photo booths, and amusing games and trick or treat candy at many of the stores and restaurants.
The Collamer parking lot will have Dream Ponies and a petting zoo from 11am until 3 pm. As well as the Rock Climbing Wall from 11am to 3pm! There will also be great music by Lifeline, Rich Bala, Seth & The Moody Melix, Matthew Boyce an Elvis Tribute Artist, and Keller & Cannon along other areas of Broadway.
Cudney’s Cleaners will have Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss, Halloween Magnet crafts, trick or treating and a “Coats for Kids” collection and distribution from 11am-3pm at the intersection of Broadway and Division Street, They are currently collecting coats at all of their locations to be distributed during the Fall Festival. There will be coats for both kids and adults.
There will be coffee sack races at the Visitor’s Center as well as an interactive drum group, Drum 2 Drum, where kids can learn about different instruments.
The Fall Festival fun for kids concludes with an exciting Costume Parade starting at 3:30pm at City Center (522 Broadway) and proceeds down Broadway, ends at the Congress Park Carousel, and the Department of Public Works has donated their time so all the kids can take a Carousel ride for free.
This unique Halloween Celebration encourages families to have fun together, enjoying the hospitality of Saratoga Springs’ businesses and the great spirit of the community.
The Downtown Business Association Fall Festival is run by an all-volunteer committee and supported by the generosity of Saratoga’s businesses. Watch the festival schedule grow day by day at Saratoga.com and at ExploreSaratoga.com.
