Seven Horse Pub announces brunch, skinny menu

New owner adds diet-friendly, gourmet pub fare

The new owner of Phila Street’s Seven Horse Pub is revamping the restaurant’s menu to include daily brunch and a “Skinny Menu” of health-conscious meal and beverage options, including low-calorie, vegan, and vegetarian plates.

The pub’s new “Skinny Menu” will be available in late July.

The new menus will be available in late July to coincide with the start of this year’s track season. Brunch will be served every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and include your choice of a Bloody Mary or Mimosa.
The Skinny Menu will offer a variety of delicious, diet-friendly food and drink choices in addition to the gourmet pub fare Seven Horse Pub is known for. Savory burgers, wings, and specialty pizzas are here to stay, but those seeking lighter options can now be just as satisfied with their dining experience.

“I want to cater to a wider audience,” said owner Danny Polidore in a press release, noting that peak summer season coincides with when most people are becoming more active and opting for healthier lifestyle decisions.

As someone who grew up in the area, Polidore always wanted to own something in Saratoga Springs. After several years living and working in Manhattan, Polidore returned in 2014 and enlisted the help of Roohan Realty agents Alex Willard and Amy Sutton to find the ideal investment property.

“I was actually surprised by how smooth buying commercially was,” Polidore said in the press release, “[they] pretty much took care of everything except writing the check.”

Polidore closed on The Seven Horse Pub in May.

The pub’s outdoor patio (which seats 50) is now open, and a new Happy Hour menu is coming soon.
