L.L.Bean to Open its First Outlet Store in New York at the Adirondack Outlet Mall in Lake George



Freeport, Maine outdoor retailer’s first New York outlet store scheduled to open toward the end of August

Freeport, ME., July 2, 2015 – Internationally recognized outdoor retailer L.L.Bean, best known for its Bean Boot,everyday free shipping and 100% satisfaction guarantee will be opening its first outlet store in New York, at theAdirondack Outlet Mall at the Factory Outlets of Lake George in Lake George, New York, which draws over 15 million visitors a year. The 13,600 square foot store will employ approximately 25 people  and will feature an assortment of discontinued, overstocked or gently used active and casual apparel and footwear, as well as outdoor lifestyle gear including hiking, fly-fishing, kayaking and winter gear and camping products. There are currently four full-retail stores in New York with locations in AlbanyFayettevilleYonkers and Victor.

L.L.Bean chose this location for its first New York outlet store due to its popularity as a year-round outdoor recreational destination, as well as the high level of traffic that the Adirondack Outlet Mall receives.
