Maguire Cardona, P.C. Makes Barclay Partner


MENANDS>> Maguire Cardona, P.C., a civil litigation and general practice firm based at The Sage Mansion, announces that Kathleen A. Barclay has been made a partner of the firm.

Barclay, who has ten years of legal experience, focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, errors and omissions, product liability, general liability defense and insurance coverage.

She has successfully litigated at trial, obtained dismissal via summary judgment, and favorably settled cases on behalf of her clients.

A 1999 graduate of Union College, Barclay earned her law degree from Boston College Law School in 2004. Prior to joining Maguire Cardona, Barclay gained extensive experience practicing law in Boston before moving to the Albany area with her family in 2009, where she then practiced as a senior associate and litigator in a highly regarded Albany firm.

Barclay is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is an active member of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association, Albany County Bar Association, Capital District Women's Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.  Barclay resides in Ballston Lake with her husband and two sons. She is an avid runner and has completed multiple full and half marathons.
