Wall of Success and 2nd annual Entrepreneur of the Year Award
Loudonville,
NY – Reflecting an expanding portfolio of entrepreneurial programs and
services that are providing unique opportunities for students and
fueling private-sector investment and growth, the Stack Center for
Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Siena College (Stack Center) today
announced plans to celebrate the achievements of its homegrown
entrepreneurs.
Nominations
are now being accepted for the Stack Center’s second annual
Entrepreneur of the Year Award, which will be presented at a ceremony on
Tuesday, March 31 in the Sarazen Student Union. The award recognizes a
Siena graduate who has excelled as an entrepreneur, positively impacted
his or her community, and is driven by the entrepreneurial spirit and
values of Siena College.
In conjunction with the ceremony, the Stack Center also plans to unveil its new Entrepreneur
Wall of Success. To be located both inside and outside the Stack
Center, as well as online, the wall will provide a highly visible
vehicle to highlight Siena graduates who have successfully launched
their own businesses.
“We are proud to say that within nearly every industry is a successful company launched by a graduate of Siena College,” said Michael J. Hickey ’83,
Executive Director of the Stack Center and Executive-in-Residence at
Siena. “As we unveil our Entrepreneur Wall of Success and honor our
newest Entrepreneur of the Year, we seek to not only celebrate the
significant achievements of our alumni, but also to inspire the next
generation of business owners and community leaders.”
