Nine Pin Pressing Party this Saturday

NINE PIN TO HOST PRESSING PARTY ON NOV. 15
Celebration of Cider Week Hudson Valley at Nine Pin will include public pressing party


WHAT:

Nine Pin Ciderworks (“Nine Pin”) will host their first-ever Pressing Party on Saturday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at their tasting room in celebration of Cider Week Hudson Valley.

Admission with souvenir Nine Pin glass is $10.

Over 80 varieties of apples from Samascott Orchards will be pressed into one monster blend of hard cider. Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan and Assemblyman John T. McDonald III will be on hand for a ceremonial pressing at 1 p.m., followed by acoustic rockabilly from The 2 Scrubs starting at 2 p.m. Slidin' Dirty Food Truck & Catering will be serving sliders all day long.

Nine Pin will debut a rye whiskey barrel aged cider, using barrels courtesy of Albany Distilling Co.

Cider Week celebrates craft cider by increasing its presence in top restaurants, bars, and retail shops across the Hudson Valley. CiderWeekHV.com serves as a central hub for the cider-centric tastings, dinners, classes and more taking place during Cider Week.
