Colonie Chamber of Commerce announces the Grand Opening of the Bull and Barrel Smokehouse Grill
LATHAM>> Now open for a month at 155 Wade Road, the Bull & Barrel Smokehouse Grill will hold it’s grand opening celebration from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13.. The celebration will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:45 p.m., and an appetizer sampling lasting throughout.
Owner Rocky Patel has enjoyed a successful 10 years of business with Philly Bar and Grill, decided to take advantage of an opportunity to expand when it became available. The second restaurant for the skilled chef, the Bull and Barrel Smokehouse Grill caters to the needs of BBQ and beer enthusiasts within the Capital Region.
“It is difficult to find good, original BBQ,” Says owner Patel, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America who is finally fulfilling his has passion for cooking BBQ food. His love for the restaurant business goes beyond his food, however, as he loves knowing customers leave satisfied. “There’s nothing better than seeing your customer’s smiling faces, knowing they will return.”
Any meat offered at the Bull & Barrel is smoked for 12 hours in a cherry hickory wood combo, in addition to select dishes such as Catfish Sliders and Asian inspired BBQ Bahn Mi.
In addition, 34 draft beers are featured, many of which are provided by local breweries, the closest being Troy.
