Hudson River Community Credit Union plans to replace Corinth branch

CORINTH>> Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) announced this week that
it plans to break ground on an all-new 3,000 square foot branch this December, replacing its current branch at 312 Palmer Ave, in Corinth.

“The design of this newly constructed building will incorporate many of the great ideas submitted to the Credit Union by its members,” said HRCCU CEO Sue Commanda. “Some of the new branch’s member-inspired features include: a high-capacity, three-lane Drive Thru, a dedicated ATM drive-up lane and a children’s play area,” she added.

The new building will be designed and built by F. H. Alexander, Inc. of Ballston Spa, and will replace a structure which has housed the Corinth-based Credit Union for more than 50 years with a more modern, energy-efficient building.

The new branch will be built to the immediate right-hand side of the current branch (on an existing parking lot and grass area), allowing the existing branch to remain open until the new building is complete. A ground breaking is being planned for early December 2014.

Completion of the branch scheduled for June 2015.
