SARATOGA SPRINGS — Dawn Oesch, owner and founder of the Candy Company of Saratoga Springs at 5 Washington Street, launched a new and improved website yesterday, Tuesday, August 16.

The revamped www.saratogacandy.com features online ordering across the United States as well as a new line of gift baskets.

“It’s exciting — we’re starting a new line of gift baskets that people can order online,” Oesch said. “In the last year we’ve been doing a huge amount of gift bags; a lot of people want to leave something for wedding guests in their rooms so we wanted to make it easier for brides and corporations to hand pick gift bags online and have them delivered right to the hotel.”

The new interactive site features a large selection of the same products offered in Oesch’s retail shop.

“We’re expanding it to a broader group, but also keeping it easy for locals who see something they want to order online if they don’t have a car or don’t want to come downtown – it brings more accessibility to everyone.”
