SARATOGA SPRINGS — Bettie’s Cakes, a retro-inspired ‘cupcakery’ café serving some of Saratoga’s most mouth-watering treats is coming out of the woodwork and moving to a new location on Broadway this June. The cute cupcake café has been serving up scrumptious homemade ice cream and assorted pastries on the lower level of the Saratoga Downstreet Marketplace for over a year.

With construction expected to wrap in a couple of weeks, Betty and her cakes recently announced they will open a new location this month on Broadway in the former location of Maestros Bistro just next to the Adelphi Hotel.

“It’s great that we won’t be hidden down here,” said Bettie's baker Melissa Vohnoutka. “We will be a lot more visible by having a store front directly on Broadway.”

An official opening date has not yet been scheduled pending construction, but Vohnoutka stated once the dates were set Bettie's Cakes would host a grand opening event for its exciting new location. The news came in line with another development in the Bettie's Cakes franchise as the store will open another location tomorrow at Hoffman’s Playground, a family amusement park located in Latham. Bettie's Cakes offers customers a delicious selection of goodies including ice cream, cupcakes, cookies and root beer floats, which they can enjoy as they can step back in time in the delightfully pink polka-dotted 50s inspired café.
