Aurelio Hair Studio Now Open
Stylist Seeks to Inspire Confidence & Build a Better Community
Aurelio Bidinost, a native of Vencie, Italy, is celebrating his twenty-fifth year of cutting and styling hair with the grand opening of his new studio, Aurelio Hair Studio located at Suite 3, 77 Van Dam Street. Bidinost first picked up a pair of scissors when he was just fifteen years-old while working an after school job at a local salon and he hasn’t looked back since.
Before moving to Saratoga two years ago for a fresh start, Bidinost worked among the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. During his time in California, Bidinost created innovative looks for A-list celebrities and styled on-set at Universal Studios in Los Angeles. On the side, Bidinost devoted four years to a particular passion project – creating a line of unique hair products that would benefit his non-profit organization, Fountain of Youth.
“Fountain of Youth is designed to help underprivileged children by raising money for musical instruments and sporting equipment,” Bidinost explained. “I didn’t always have that kind of activity to occupy my free time after school and sometimes it got me into trouble. This is my way of healing from my own childhood and also my way to give back to the community by helping children today.”
The organization is still in its final stage of development, but the goal is to have ten percent of the proceeds of Bidinost’s original hair product line go toward Fountain of Youth efforts. Four years of work went into designing the product line, which features top-quality, salon ingredients at reasonable prices. The line features ‘Love,’ a shampoo; ‘Kisses,’ a conditioner; ‘Empowerment,’ a super-sculpting product and a designing spray called ‘Faith’ because as Bidinost put it, “I believe faith holds it all together.”
Aurelio Hair Studio is currently open by appointment only as Bidinost is the sole stylist on staff at the moment. He does, however, plan on hiring several other stylists to create a full-team to best meet the needs of his customers and will also hold an official grand opening ceremony when the final shipments of his product come in.
“I think image is very important,” Bidinost said. “Because when we look good and feel good about ourselves, we do better and I’m just an instrument in that because I love to see people look and feel their best to ultimately go out in the world and do their best.”
