The Body Lounge Spa to open; Trendy new Caroline Street bar hosts kick off fundraiser on Friday

The Body Lounge & Dust Cosmetics: The Newest in Spa Technology

Attention Saratoga spa lovers – the newest experience in personal pampering is coming your way. Aleah Homer of upstate New York is the hidden talent behind two exciting new businesses – Dust Cosmetics and The Body Lounge Spa & Boutique, which are opening their doors this June on Broadway.

“The Body Lounge is more than your average spa,” Homer explained. “It will feature all sorts of amazing, trendy services like an oxygen bar, organic teeth whitening, Reiki acupuncture and makeup services.”

The new-age Body Lounge will make its home on the lower level of the Saratoga Marketplace at 454 Broadway and has a tentative opening day penciled in for June 18, 2011. Homer is waiting on a few final touches to confirm the official opening date, but with an exclusive VIP kick off event complete with live entertainment and a wine tasting in the works, this is one grand opening you won’t want to miss.

The complete experience of the grand opening mirrors the overarching mission of The Body Lounge. “The goal is provide a really cool, outside-the-box complete spa experience for our customers,” Homer explained.

The Lounge seeks to provide a total LA/New York City type spa experience while putting the customer’s needs first. Along with many other innovative features, the spa will also include a WiFi hotspot at the Oxygen Bar to provide customers with the best quality service.

The opening of The Body Lounge also marks the culmination and fusion of Homer’s two retail businesses and passions. The Lounge will feature a main room, three adjoining treatment rooms and a separate retail boutique that will feature Dust Cosmetic products from Homer’s own organic makeup line. Until now the Dust Cosmetics line has been sold exclusively online, but with the opening of her new spa, Homer will be able to feature her products in the retail boutique and as the primary cosmetic used for all makeup spa services. The all-natural cosmetic line features a variety of high-quality mineral products that start around $7.

“The spa will go beyond just its retail element,” Homer added. “One thing we’re doing that hasn’t been done around here before is offering memberships in addition to customers who stop in once or twice.”

Members will enjoy exclusive deals and complimentary services that would not otherwise be a part of the spa’s regular promotions to the general public. The Body Lounge is perfect for individuals, bridal parties or any group looking for customized services before a special event or big night out. Whether you’re looking for a simple facial or a hydrating oil treatment, The Body Lounge will be the place to go this summer for Saratoga’s track-goers, city visitors and local trendsetters. Stay tuned for more details about the grand opening.
