GLENS FALLS -- Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company has named Kevin O’Brien as Senior Vice President of Insurance Sales and Operations for the Bank’s insurance subsidiaries.

In this role, Mr. O’Brien will oversee the operation and growth of the Bank’s insurance subsidiaries, including McPhillips Insurance Agency, Upstate Agency and Capital Financial Group – all divisions of Glens Falls National Insurance Agencies, LLC. He joins the Bank with extensive experience in the industry as co-owner of R. J. O’Brien Insurance in Glens Falls for 18 years and prior to that, as a supervisor at Travelers for 10 years.

A Glens Falls resident, Mr. O’Brien has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the College at Brockport. His is very active in the community, serving on the boards of the Tri-County United Way, Rotary Club of Glens Falls, Conkling Center, Glen at Hiland Meadows and the United Way of New York.
