Latham – RJ Murray Company, the oldest operating Carrier distributor in the world, presented its annual Performance Awards at its 2015 Carrier Dealer Meeting and Tradeshow.

Three of the five Carrier dealers who received recognition for performance are locally owned companies in the Capital Region:

1. JDJ Comfort Systems (Schenectady, NY) for Air Conditioning Sales

2. Bourque Mechanical Systems (Rensselaer, NY) for Furnace Sales

3. Climate Heating & Cooling (Pittsfield, NY) for Indoor Air Quality Sales

Bourque Mechanical Systems is a family owned business specializing in high-efficiency heating, air conditioning, and geothermal systems. One of only 1,500 Factory Authorized Carrier Dealers, Bourque provides high-quality service and installations for both residential and commercial applications.

Climate Heating & Cooling, with a fully staffed Engineering Department, ensures each project has the proper equipment selection and documentation for a successful HVAC installation for years of reliable and safe operation.

JDJ Comfort Systems, a Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer, maintains and operates a complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system design and installation department to accommodate commercial property developers, and industrial and manufacturing clients.

JDJ Comfort Systems was also recognized for 10 Years of Service and Lou’s Heating & Air Conditioning (Amsterdam, NY) was recognized for 25 Years of Service.

The Meeting and Tradeshow is held every year to update dealers on new Carrier technologies and equipment. This year’s featured speaker was Stacy Gualandi, Commercial Regional Sales Manager for Carrier Corp., who presented Carrier’s new duct free split systems that can provide heating performance down to minus 22°F and cooling performance up to 130°.

The latest Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems were also introduced. One of the most effective and efficient types of heating and cooling systems available, VRF allows individual fan coil units to be independently controlled to vary the capacity delivered to each zone.
