The Frank Adams Jewelers store in Saratoga Springs will be closing Nov. 1, as its owners have decided to lighten their workload.

Company president Kimberly Adams Russell and her husband Jeffrey Russell made the business decision as a lifestyle change. The Russells made clear that the store’s closing isn’t due to unprofitable business, but as a way to focus more on family and their three children.

After eight years in business selling high-end jewelry and watches, at 18 Division St., the storefront space will be rented out to a new business tenant.

The much larger Frank Adams Jewelers location in Stuyvesant Plaza will remain open, nearing a century in business in Albany.
