All Good Things come to those who wait
At
30 Lake Avenue, on the ground floor of the Pavilion Grand Hotel, All Good
Things has opened: a juice bar, a spa and a yoga room, among other services.
This
is the second location for the business, owned by Kim DeVito and her sister, Rene
Mantello, who also have a Loudonville All Good Things.
On
the hotel’s website, this new Saratoga Springs spa’s concept is described: “Being
healthy is not just about a good workout. The emphasis at All Good Things is on the freshness
of what we eat, the purity of the products we use and the stillness we bring to
our minds that create a better lifestyle.”
“All
Good Things is a wellness facility focused on healthy choices for skin, mind
and body,” DeVito wrote on the hotel’s website. “We will help our guests
prepare for a special event or take a moment to simply relax.”
Spa
manager Jennifer Post said the entire area was created under a healthy concept.
“We
want to nourish clients from the inside out,” she said.
The
juice bar serves fresh, made-to-order cool-pressed juices, smoothies and
enhancers. On the menu, you’ll find Almighty Kale juice, composed of kale, spinach, romaine, parsley, cucumber,
celery and apple. Also included are vitamins A, B complex, C, E and K, as
well as potassium and calcium. The juice is anti-inflammatory, a bone-builder,
a cleanser and an aid to digestion.
The
Ginger Snap juice comprises ginger,
carrot and green apple. The concoction boosts energy, offering vitamins
A, C and B6, as well as protein, calcium and iron.
In
the spa, a Poultice Massage is an herbal poultice treatment steamed and applied
directly to the body in a kneading action, which will soothe muscle tension and
stiffness. Heat and herbs are absorbed by the body to help reduce aches and
pains, increase lymphatic drainage and condition the skin.
Relaxation,
deep-tissue and Shiatsu massages are also available, as are facials, waxing and
salon services. You can get mink eyelash extensions or a Brazilian bikini wax.
Bridal salon services are offered as well.
