February cooking class with Jacqueline Hauf: Creating Healthy Pizzas
Jacqueline Hauf of Jacquie “O” Fresh and Raw Foods
presents February’s cooking class, “In the Kitchen with Jacquie ‘O,’ Creating
Healthy Pizzas,” Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 26 Kings Mills Rd., Wilton from 6
p.m.
to 7:30 p.m.
“You will learn ways to assemble foods that are
light, delicious and fast, working with real foods and avoiding using processed
ones; ingredient modifications and alternatives; and basic food rules,” she
said. “You will also learn how changing one common ingredient may help you lose
weight, boost your energy and prevent disease.”
Hauf is a certified health coach and a recipe
modifier/developer, who believes that health and happiness can be changed one
bite at a time. For 25 years, she was the owner of Synergy, an Aveda Salon
& Day Spa. During these years of caring for others’ outward beauty needs,
along with struggling most of her life with sugar addiction, digestive issues,
food intolerances and yo-yo dieting, she was drawn to inner health and
wellness. She is a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the
largest nutrition school in the world, and is accredited by the American
Association of Drugless Practitioners. Hauf works with individuals who struggle
with the same issues she herself faced, as well as weight loss. To learn more about
her and make an appointment for a free “Getting to the Gut of it Discovery
