Local Pilates studio to host informal open house
Reform: a True Pilates Studio at 18 Division St., Ste.
203, is hosting an informal open house Thursday, Jan.
24 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30
p.m.
Meghan Del Prete, owner of Reform Pilates, is providing a relaxed,
pressure-free opportunity for the public to come observe and try out Pilates
apparatus. Attendees will be able to watch private sessions and small-group
classes as well as ask the instructors Pilates questions. Free 15-minute demos
are available for people to use the apparatus with instructor guidance. Pre-registration
is requested. Everyone who attends will be entered into a raffle for the $250 Introduction
to Pilates package and will get 10 percent off all boutique purchases. The
studio boutique offers Pilates and yoga workout apparel, including Lucy and
other name brands, and has a selection of Pilates books, DVDs and workout
accessories.
Reform: a True Pilates Studio offers private and
semiprivate instruction as well as small-group classes in a studio equipped
with Gratz Apparatus, state-of-the-art training equipment. All instructors have
been certified by Romana’s Pilates at True Pilates NY. This gives the studio
the advantage of keeping the integrity of the Pilates method as it was taught
by Joseph Pilates and handed down to Romana Kryzanowska. For further
information about the open house and the Reform studio, call 871-1315 or go to www.reformyourbody.com.

This is a great event to showcase what the studio has and to give people ideas about pilates and their benefits to the humna body. People need to be aware so that they will be motivated to join. Some people have not even heard of Pilates that is why they don't find it interesting. :)
