News from Sperry’s restaurant: Booking holiday parties, planning New Year’s Eve, chef wins award
Sperry’s restaurant is now celebrating the
holiday season with its patrons. The restaurant will arrange on- and off-premises
gatherings, with 10 percent off parties booked from Sunday through Wednesday. Holiday gift certificates are also
available.
For those entertaining at home, the restaurant
offers a holiday a la carte menu, which includes such dishes as Autumn Spiced
Pumpkin Bisque, All Natural Boneless Turkey Breast, and Bourbon Pecan Pie.
Sperry’s New Year's Eve theme this year is Bollywood.
The proprietors are planning a night full of color, music, film, fun, and great
food. Special prix fixe and regular menus will be available. To make a New
Year’s Eve, reservation, call 584-9618.
In other news, Sperry’s Chef Mike Spain recently
won a Gold Medal and the Grand Award at the 22nd Annual Culinary Cornucopia.
The winning entree was an Autumn Spiced Venison Chop with Sweet Potato
Spaetzle, Swiss Chard with Toasted Pine Nuts, and Lingonberry Sauce. For more
