Serendipity Arts Studio: culinary and fine arts classes in Saratoga Springs
Creativity you can try, touch and taste!
The culinary and fine arts have found a new place to flourish just off Broadway in Saratoga Springs.
Patrice Mastrianni is proud to announce the opening of Serendipity Arts Studio located at 26D Congress St., Congress Plaza in Saratoga Springs. Drawing upon her extensive background and experience as artist, teacher, former creative director for Golub Corporation, and business owner, Patrice plans to offer a unique combination of both culinary and fine arts classes and parties for children and adults.
Classes are available for all skill levels and ages and include an assortment of artistic media, such as glass fusion, mosaics and fabric art, with culinary topics ranging from simple things like knife skills to preparing Cordon Bleu caliber cuisine. Patrice has partnered with local professional chefs, expert home cooks, and artists from across the region, who will act as guest instructors for day and evening classes.
She will also personally conduct a variety of studio art classes.
Patrice received her B.S. in Studio Arts from The College of St. Rose and has been teaching children and adults alike for nearly 35 years. Most recently, she worked for the Saratoga Senior Center as
Program Director, Marketing Director, and Art Instructor. She is also the former owner of Creative
Sparks Pottery in Saratoga, as well as a past member of the Saratoga Downtown Business Association.
Because of her longtime involvement with the city of Saratoga, Patrice realized the need for a business that would respond to the high level of culinary and arts enthusiasm in the region. She created
Serendipity Arts Studio to fill a much needed void for the community and surrounding region.
“This is a perfect place for mothers to bring even their youngest children to nurture creativity, social
skills, and confidence.” notes Patrice, adding, “We’ll also have programs exclusively for teens to learn kitchen skills or just socialize outside of school.” She is also excited about offering a relaxing, yet stimulating environment for adults in both daytime and evening classes. “The open kitchen is perfect for Couples Cooking, Girls Night Out or hosting a dinner party with a guest chef.” As Saratoga continues to grow and attract people literally from around the world, Serendipity Arts Studio will provide a meeting place where people can enjoy good food, good art, and become more acquainted with the talent the area has to offer.
Serendipity Arts Studio is available for private parties, fundraising events, and team building activities for office groups. To register for a class or book a party, visit www.serendipityartsstudio.com and click on the calendar. Gift certificates are also available for purchase online.
