The Foundry for Art Design + Culture Receives Minority Women Business Enterprise Certification

Cohoes –The Foundry for Art Design + Culture, LLC, a creative and cultural services firm specializing in, branding, print and web design, video and photography, marketing and social media, and cultural services for cities, schools, businesses and non-profits, received certification as a Minority Women Business Enterprise by New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women's Business Development (DMWBD).

“By receiving the MWBE designation, we look forward to the opportunities the certification will bring,” said Alana Sparrow, Founder and Creative Director of the Foundry.

The MWBE certification for minority women-owned business is the most recognizable and sought after certification of its kind. DMWBD’s standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a minority, and a woman or women.

By including minority women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
