Chamber of Southern Saratoga County expands staff to meet the needs of a growing membership
Chamber expands staff due to website transformation and increased marketing opportunities for membership
CLIFTON PARK - The Chamber of Southern Saratoga County is thrilled to introduce Sandy McAlonie as our Membership Consultant. Following her retirement from her 36 year career in banking, Sandy is embarking on a new career dedicated to the Chamber community. Her passion is to make a difference in both our local and global communities. As our membership consultant, she will be reaching out to the region’s business community to recruit members and strengthen those relationships to ensure members maximize the value of their association with the chamber.
Sandy’s experience, and dedication is exemplified by her tremendous involvement within our community. She is the President of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club and is a Rotary District 7190 Foundation committee member.
Sandy also serves as a Board Member of the Ronald McDonald House Charites of the Capital Region. She also volunteers at the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Albany Medical Center.
The Chamber also welcomes Robin Morgan as our Community Manager. With last year's Chamber website transformation and increased digital marketing opportunities for membership, Robin has been added to better serve our members and continue to build the Chamber's online community. Robin joins our team to share her enthusiasm for helping individuals and businesses navigate online opportunity while adhering to best practices of today's marketing landscape.
Robin has been working as a marketing professional for more than 15 years helping businesses both large and small expand their reach and customer base. With experience in the local as well as the national landscape, Robin's efforts have been rooted in digital and design work including working alongside the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County as their freelance designer for the past three years.
“As the Chamber realizes its growth potential and continues its specialization into several key Tech Valley industries, the task of integrating and aligning our diverse business community becomes even more daunting,” says Pete Bardunias, President/CEO of the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County. “Having Sandy and Robin on our staff complements a team that is already first-rate, and will give us the resources to better assist any area business with its needs. This is very good news for the businesses and residents of southern Saratoga County and the surrounding area.”
