Saratoga Women in Business gathering July 14
Saratoga Springs - The Saratoga Women in Business (SWIB) group will hold their bi-monthly
meeting on Tuesday, July 14 from 5-7 p.m. at Saratoga Learning Center, located at 120 West Blvd. in
Saratoga Springs. Parking is available behind the building.
The gathering will be sponsored by Susan Kiley, M.Ed., owner of Saratoga Learning Center, a tutoring and test preparation service.
The SWIB group targets female business leaders in the greater Saratoga Springs area and offers free bi-monthly fellowship opportunities. Wine and light snacks, sponsored by area businesses, will be provided at each gathering, and door prizes will also be awarded.
"This is a great way for female leaders in our area to get to know one another, and I'm excited to host
this diverse group of successful women," said Kiley.
"Our inaugural gathering in May was a huge success," said SWIB co-founder Heidi Ives, sales manager at HomeBridge Financial Services, Inc. "We were thrilled to see so many female professionals from the Saratoga Springs area in attendance, and we hope to have even more people at our July event."
"Our great turnout goes to show that women business leaders are eager to socialize and network with
one another in a relaxed setting," continued Dorothy Rogers-Bullis, owner of drb Business Interiors, and another co-founder of the SWIB group. "It's a very friendly, welcoming atmosphere."
Every SWIB meeting includes a 5-minute presentation by a local woman-run non-profit organization. The July non-profit spotlight will be on ACTT Naturally, an organization that retrains off-track thoroughbreds for new futures, partnering the horses with women who are overcoming adversity. Rachel Spensieri, a freelance writer and editor in Saratoga Springs. "This is a great chance for a non-
