Saratoga Springs - Saratoga Botanicals Organic Spa and Store announces the completion of its expansion of an additional 1500 square feet of spa space. The new spa space includes additional treatment rooms, sauna, relaxation area, shower and bathrooms and a waterfall wall. The spa, which is also a store, makes and sells its own brand of organic skincare, makeup, and bath and body products, and is located at 80 Henry St.in Saratoga Springs.

In celebration of the new expansion, Saratoga Botanicals is throwing a grand reopening party planned for Thursday, June 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. During the event, the spa will be giving tours of the new space, free mini services, and offering refreshments and hors d'oeuvres. Door prizes will be raffled off to guests, which will include a two-pack of 60-minute Swedish massages and a two-pack of their 60-minute signature facials, among other giveaways such as product gift baskets.

The spa and store, which is owned and operated by Franesa and Dr. Bert W. Pyle, III, M.D., opened in November of 2013. In opening the spa, the husband and wife duo envisioned a unique boutique spa concept that offered integrated health and wellness services from traditional spa services to medical and nutritional consultation. They wanted a back to basics approach to health and wellness with an emphasis on organic.

“One of things that people like about us is that we are a relaxed down home spa focusing on celebrating the individuality of everyone. There is no judgement here and of course we offer health and wellness solutions, but everyone is different and not one program is best for every person and so everything is completely customized to meet people where they’re at. You could come in to our spa to simply relax and unwind or you can take advantage of our health and wellness options to address deeper levels of healing, “ says Franesa Pyle, co-owner.

In only a year and a half of operation, the owners saw a need to expand due to the overwhelming support and success of their growing business. Since opening, the spa has serviced nearly 6,000 clients, and their brand of organic skincare, cosmetics and bath and body products have sold well.

“What most people do not realize when they walk into our spa, is that my wife makes all of the products that are used and sold in the spa and store.  All of the products are mindfully made with organic or wildcrafted plant ingredients. It took her over a decade to perfect her craft and to come out with a line of over 200 products, which are now sold in the store. When people find out that we make everything they are pretty much blown away,” says Bert Pyle, who goes by his middle name of Bill.

In February, the owners launched a new line of products sold in the store called Spa City Organics, now their professional line of skincare and cosmetics products. The owners are currently ramping up for a North East distribution of their Spa City Organics line.

Saratoga Botanicals was recently featured in the New York Post and has also earned regional media attention for one of their best-selling products, a natural tick and mosquito repellent that is earning positive reviews for its effectiveness.
