Galofaro has been a successful and admired business owner in the Capital Region for over 25 years. She founded the renowned Angela’s Bridal and owned and operated the business for over twenty years.

“In 2008 I sold Angela’s Bridal and took some much needed time to unwind, be with my family, and spend lots of time with my daughter,” explained Galofaro.  “I started practicing Hot Yoga and was immediately hooked.  Eventually a mutual friend introduced me to former Estudio owner Emily Clausi Lawson and negotiations began for me to purchase the business and take it to the next level.”

Galofaro took ownership of Estudio, located in Newton Plaza at 595 New Loudon Road in Loudonville, in July 2014, and in just a year, has successfully grown the business to over 1500 clients. She will celebrate her one-year anniversary as owner on July 1.

“Business is in my blood,” proclaims Galofaro. “To be able to use my skills as a businesswoman and do what I love while making a difference in the health and wellness of others is a blessing.  My goal has always been and will continue to be to provide a beautiful safe space and an opportunity for my clients to transform their lives through the practice of Hot Yoga & Barre fitness. Seeing their smiling faces on a day-to-day basis is priceless.”

Galofaro also enjoys sharing her passion for business with her daughter Gianna Coburn who oversees Estudio’s social media campaigns.

The future of Estudio looks bright with plans for a second location, hopefully within the next year. Galofaro also has plans to add a full Yoga apparel and accessories store to one of the locations.

Galofaro also values the importance of providing fitness options for children and is working toward adding Yoga for kids to the schedule of class offerings. Understanding the benefits of health and wellness programs for individuals of all ages, she is advocating for Yoga to be added to Physical Education Curriculum in schools.
