SARATOGA SPRINGS>> Bailey's Cafe, located at 37 Phila St. in downtown Saratoga Springs, has seen a lot of changes this spring and the business is inviting all to come check out its new features

Bailey's new food, wine and cocktail menus are going into effect this Wednesday, June 3.

Following, there will be a "grand-opening patio party" from 6 to 10 p.m this Friday, June 5. Local artist Rich Ortiz will perform from 9 p.m. to midnight.

"We have completed a renovation on our covered patio which opened the area up for better viewing of our bands and giving more open area to our guests," said Lindsay Richardson, who runs the bar and restaurant with her husband Joseph Richardson. "We have lots of tropical plants and flowers around our patio and will be adding some fire torches for a nice ambiance and warmth during summer nights outside."

This is Joseph Richardson's 13th year owning Bailey's Cafe and the couple's first year running it together, since they fully took over at the end of last summer from a previous business partner.

"We love great food and entertainment and we want our restaurant to reflect just that," Lindsay Richardson said.

The new menu will feature a Pat LaFrieda Burger, as well as a local burger that is 100 percent grass-fed, 100 percent Angus and dry-aged for two weeks and a local half barbecue (Cornell style) chicken dinner from a small, local farm. Bailey's is using local and international artisan cheeses for our cheese plate, local tomatoes, local herbs, and local honey.There will also be wine, craft beer and cocktail pairings with menu items.

The new cocktail list is full of fun recipes that Lindsay Richardson carefully selected, including a few signature drinks for Bailey's.

Bailey's Cafe will soon begin hosting fun events such as "Paint a Pint" night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, when people can come and paint a pint glass that they can take home with them at no charge. There will be Blue Moon specials and a gift card giveaway.

Futhermore, Bailey's will be planning craft beer dinners throughout the summer with small craft breweries such as Sierra Nevada.

Bailey's Cafe also offers on-premise catering for any event (weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc).
