Celebrate Employee Wellness Month this June 2015 with the #healthysaratoga movement!
With the support of
Blue Shield of Northeastern New York,
our Health & Wellness Council has planned a series of events to
make it easy for local employers and employees to take part in this
wellness celebration and to become a part of the #healthysaratoga
movement.
Wednesday, June 3rd
- Join us (and bring your family, coworkers and friends) and the
Saratoga Stryders for a special walk or run at your own pace in the
Saratoga Spa State Park. A special ribbon cutting to kick-off Employee
Wellness Month will take place at
5:30 p.m. with the walk and run starting at
6:00 p.m. near the Spa Little Theater. The Stryders will
have
several people who will lead walkers or casual joggers/runners over a
section of the Cross Country Course. People can choose to do as much or
as little of that as they want.Friday, June 5th - Clifton Park - Halfmoon Employee Wellness Walk at
11:30 a.m. at the Clifton Park - Halfmoon EMS. Registration starts at
11:30 a.m. and the walk will start at
12:00 noon.
This is a one-mile walk on a sidewalk with an escort by the Saratoga
County Sheriff's Department. Door prizes and goodie bags for all

click here for details and to register!Thursday, June 18th - The Second Annual Chamber Networking Mixer and #healthysaratoga expo at the Roosevelt Baths, in the Saratoga Spa State Park,
5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Healthy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, great networking, and the chance to
connect with up to 50 local health and wellness organizations.

Thursday, June 25th - The Chamber #healthysaratoga networking breakfast will be held at Healthy Living, in Wilton, from
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
A healthy breakfast buffet, the chance to networking with members, and
to get some expert advice on how you and your employees can achieve your
health and wellness goals.

Last
year, our members helped us to generate over 1,200 #healthysaratoga
posts on the web. We know that a number of chamber members saw these
posts and we're inspired to take action to improve their personal health
and the focus on wellness in the workplace.
