Monica Berard hired as Community Development Officer for Sunmark Federal Credit Union
(Latham, N.Y.) - Sunmark Federal Credit Union has announced that Monica Berard has been hired as Community Development Officer.
In this position, Berard’s responsibilities include working with existing and prospective Community Business Partners; helping Community Business Partners’ employees improve their financial well-being; conducting financial seminars that address topics including credit repair, mortgage, and business referrals; and serving as a Sunmark ambassador to the community.
Previously, Berard was at KeyBank for nearly six years, where she began as a teller, graduated from their Management Associate Program in 2012 and most recently, was a personal banker in the Albany area.
Berard holds a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from State University College of New York at Oneonta.
Berard lives in Albany and is an active member of the Tech Valley Young Professionals Network Planning Committee of the Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber.
