SARATOGA SPRINGS>> Kathlyn Denkenberger, Vice President of Operations & Convention Services at the Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau celebrates 25 years of service at the Bureau on May 16, 2015.
Among her duties at the Bureau, Kathy oversees the Convention Services Department and assists the President with Operational duties. She is currently serving a second two-year term on the Board of Directors for the Event Service Professionals Association (ESPA), a national event industry association, where she also serves as their 2nd Vice President! She is also a member of The Empire State Society of Assn. Executives, The Northeast Chapter of Meeting Professional’s International, and The Professional Convention Management Association.
Saratoga Convention & Tourism Bureau President, Todd Garofano, said; “We often hear from meeting & event planners that one of the key differentiators between Saratoga and our competitors is the high level of detailed service we provide to our groups. One of the easiest sales to make is that of a repeat customer. So, if they leave here feeling that their expectations have not only been made but exceeded every time, the chances of Saratoga being selected again for their conference or other future business is greatly improved. So, we take a very proactive approach to convention services. Kathy leads that effort and has been a tremendous asset to the Convention & Tourism Bureau team and our local community for the last 25 years. She is an integral part of our organization and we thank her for her years of service and dedication”.
