BurgerFi Latham now hiring, construction underway

LATHAM, N.Y. - BurgerFi, one of the fastest growing better burger concepts, known for its fresh, all-natural burgers, fries and frozen custard, announced today that it will hire about 50 to 60 workers for the 3,000 square-foot eatery at 860 New Loudon Road, Latham. The new restaurant will be the sixth BurgerFi in New York state and the first location upstate.

Local franchise owner, Burger Ventures, LLC, is seeking qualified candidates to fill positions for cooks, managers, assistant managers, food preparation, cashiers, and more. Applicants can submit resumes via email at jobs@burgerventures.com

Bonacio Construction was selected as the contractor to build-out the space with a completion date scheduled for July. Burger Ventures, LLC is in the final stages of closing on the property for a second local store at 460 Broadway in downtown Saratoga Springs.

“BurgerFi will provide a rewarding opportunity in a fun, exciting atmosphere for anyone who has experience in the food service industry and specifically fast casual dining,” said Bill Lia Jr., partner, Burger Ventures, LLC.

The Florida-based BurgerFi company brands itself as part of the “better burger movement” — in which food is never frozen or microwaved.

In addition, the BurgerFi restaurants are built using “earth-friendly elements,” like chairs made from recycled Coke bottles and tables made out of recycled wood.
