Schenectady, N.Y. – Ellis Medicine announces the addition of Gregory J. Tillou, M.D., FACS to Ellis Medical Group.  He joins Ellis General Surgery, offering a full scope of general surgery services with focus on advanced laparoscopy, robotic surgery, hernia repairs/abdominal wall reconstruction, and upper and lower endoscopy.

Tillou was most recently a general surgeon at Auburn/Auburn Community Hospital.  He earned his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine, Washington, D.C. and completed his residency in general surgery at Albany Medical Center, and served as chief resident afterwards.  He is Board Certified in General Surgery and licensed in the State of New York.

Ellis General Surgery treats patients with conditions such as acid reflux, appendicitis, bowel diseases, Crohn’s Disease, gallstones, gastric ulcers, hemorrhoids, hernias, intestinal obstructions, skin lesions, tumors and cysts and pancreatic diseases.
