Colonie Chamber of Commerce announces the Grand Opening of Farmer’s Insurance

LATHAM, N.Y.—Friday, December 12th , Farmer’s Insurance office will celebrate the

grand opening of it’s newest agency at 601 Watervliet Shaker Rd., from 2:00 to 4:00

PM. The event will feature a ribbon cutting ceremony held at 3:00 PM.

Offering auto, home, life, and business insurance, Farmer’s Insurance offers Capital

Region residents a new insurance choice. “Too often, the insurance policy process

is only about the numbers and documents required,” Says Agency owner James

O’Brien. “Although very important, I never lose sight that it is also a “people”

business. Building relationships and providing strong communication with my

insurance clients is key.”

Beginning with his first agency in Clifton Park, O’Brien saw rapid growth in

business, showing him the need of Capital Region residents for a different choice

in insurance. When asked what he loves most about his business, his O’Brien

responded simply by saying that “I love working with people and building

meaningful personal and business relationships.”
