Fingerpaint Expands Creative and Medical Teams

SARATOGA SPRINGS>> Fingerpaint recently welcomed Nick McDowell and Ian DeMeritt to its creative and medical teams.

Prior to joining Fingerpaint’s creative team, Nick McDowell was a senior copywriter for Palio+Ignite, where he worked on multichannel offerings in the HIV, MS, and adherence categories. He also served as senior digital copywriter for New York City’s Grey Healthcare Group, spearheading the agency’s efforts with interactive applications and websites for Colgate Total, Abraxane, and Invega Sustenna.

McDowell graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in creative writing and a minor in biology.

Ian DeMeritt was hired to lead Fingerpaint’s medical team. An accomplished virologist, DeMeritt was formerly medical director for Palio+Ignite, where he provided strategic medical direction and content for the agency’s pharmaceutical and molecular diagnostic products. He also served as assistant scientific director for Paradigm Medical Communications Communications (formerly PharmAdura, LLC.)

DeMeritt earned his Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, and his bachelor’s degrees in biology and interdisciplinary studies at Virginia Tech.
