Sunmark Federal Credit Union Hosts Advisement Session for Candidates for Business Grant Contest
Sunmark
Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the Albany-Colonie Regional
Chamber, is proud to announce the return of the Sunmark Business
Grant, a contest for first-time business owners and entrepreneurs.
Eligible applicants include businesses that opened after November 1, 2013 or plan to open before June 1, 2015.
Also, entrepreneurs who have
a plan and are ready to take action – but haven’t established a
business yet may enter. Entrants should be first-time business-owners
who have not been finalists in a previous Sunmark Business Grant
competition.
The
winning business or business idea will receive a seat in the 2015
Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber’s Entrepreneur Boot Camp and $1,000 in
a Sunmark business account. The runner up will receive their choice of
a seat in the 2015 Albany-Colonie Regional Chamber’s Entrepreneur Boot
Camp or $500 in a Sunmark business account.
In preparation for the contest deadline (Thursday, October 23), candidates are invited to bring their written plans, materials and questions about business plans, financials, operations,
and marketing to be reviewed by area business experts.
