(Latham, N.Y.) – S.I.S. Insurance & Financial Services has announced the acquisition of the R.Jones Agency in Ballston Spa. 

R.Jones Agency has been serving the community of Ballston Spa and its surrounding area for more than 20 years.  R.Jones owner Ruthann Jones will be joining the S.I.S. team to assist with the transition of business, after which she plans to retire.

“We look forward to working with the community of Ballston Spa and continuing in Ruthann’s footsteps as a good neighbor and a resource on all things insurance-related,” said Richard Anthony, president of SIS Insurance and Financial Services. “We wish Ruthann many happy years of retirement.” 

The agency will remain at its present location (95 Front Street, Ballston Spa) through the end of the year after which it will be relocating to offices inside the Sunmark Federal Credit Union branch located at 202 Northline Road, also in Ballston Spa.
