ALBANY-- Fueled by increased membership and
organizational growth, Fidelis Care, a Statewide health plan with more than
1.1 million members, announces plans to hire 40 new IT employees at its
Albany regional office, and relocate to a larger office space in the area.
The positions range from entry-level to management and can be applied for
at fideliscare.org/careerday or at Fidelis Care’s IT Professionals Career
Day on Oct. 18.

“Changes in health care have led to unprecedented IT growth within our
organization. We added 40 new IT positions in Albany earlier this year, and
the majority of them are now filled. We are expanding further in Albany
with 40 additional positions because the talent we’re seeing here is
impressive,” said Martin Krebs, Chief Information Officer.

The available positions fall into the categories of Project Delivery,
Development, Infrastructure, Analysis, and Database Administration.
Additional positions are expected to be added in the coming months. Fidelis

Fidelis Care established an Albany regional office in 1997 that has grown
to accommodate 150 employees. In November, the office will move from
Corporate Woods to 31 British American Boulevard in Airport Park in Latham
– where the opportunity for additional expansion is available.

“By tripling our square footage, the new location meets both our current
and future needs,” said Mark Griffith, Assistant Vice President, Materials
Management and Support Services. “In addition to providing the workspace we
need for a growing number of employees, a portion of the building will be
dedicated to business continuity.”

Fidelis Care’s other regional offices are located in Buffalo, Syracuse, and
New York City, with satellite offices in Rochester, Poughkeepsie, and
Suffern. There are also 13 community office locations across New York
State.
