IntegraOptics Names New Channel Manager for Southern U.S.

LATHAM>>IntegraOptics, Inc., the nation’s fastest-growing fiber optics networking components provider and the #2 fastest-growing company in New York State’s Capital Region, today announced that Randy Duncan has been named senior channel manager to further develop its growing portfolio of both regional and national channel sales.

In his position, which is a new one at the company, Duncan will focus on enlarging IntegraOptics' geographic footprint throughout the southern half of the U.S. He will develop relationships with value-added resellers (VARs), particularly channel VARs that target the vertical markets of healthcare, government, manufacturing, and finance, where fiber optic networking growth is booming.

Duncan joins IntegraOptics during a sustained uptick at the Albany area technology leader, according to IntegraOptics President, CEO & CTO David Prescott. "Someone once said that channel managers are an 'inflection point' for a company,” he said. “Intel Co-Founder Andy Grove described an inflection point as a catalyst which changes the way we think and act. We have a great channel partner program, but Randy will make us better. Channel managers are where the rubber meets the road."

With 16 years in enterprise sales for the telecom/network OEM space, Duncan is highly experienced in growing sales via channel development. Duncan comes to IntegraOptics from NEC of America, where he was director of sales/technical engineering. Prior to that, he held management sales positions at Avaya incorporated. Previously he was in application sales at Lucent Technologies.

A resident of Guilderland, N.Y., Duncan earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa. He also attended Sage College of Albany.
