New tenants continue London tradition
SARATOGA SPRINGS>> New tenants have signed a multi-year lease agreement at 464 and 466 Broadway in Saratoga Springs. Saratoga Hospitality, LLC and Saratoga Hospitality & Bakery, LLC have signed 10 year leases for Max London’s Restaurant and Mrs. London’s Bakery and Café.
Both locations were closed during the week of September 15 to enable the landlord to take possession of the premises and the new tenants to begin making renovations. Max London’s and Mrs. London’s reopened for business as usual with a polished, fresh look on September 18.
The prior tenants, companies owned and operated by Michael London, were unable to continue operating after falling on hard financial times.
Both establishments will now be run by Max London, Michael’s 34-year old son, under the new tenants. Max grew up in the family business and is a two time winner of the Iron Chef Challenge at Saratoga Farmers’ Market.
“I look forward to keeping our family tradition alive," Max London said in a press release."The bakeshop has been a Saratoga staple for many years; providing the freshest and best quality, authentic baked goods and entrees. We are grateful to continue to serve the community we love with the same great recipes, philosophies and commitment to quality.”
