JCPenny in Clifton Park gets a face-lift
CLIFTON PARK — As a part of a nationwide effort to better customer’s shopping experiences, JCPenny is renovating a number of its retail locations across the country including the store in Clifton Park Center.
JCPenny, a leading department store featuring affordable fashion, recently announced the refurbishment in light of the company’s dedication to upholding and improving customer service.
The Clifton Park Center store opened in 1977.
One of the perks resulting from the face lift is that the Clifton Park Center location will feature a full-service Sephora makeup and beauty shop inside its walls. The Sephora shop includes trained beauty consultants to assist customers as they browse some of the nation’s best makeup brands like Bobbi Brown and M.A.C.
The Clifton Park store will also include two new in-store additions — MNG by Mango and Call It Spring — each of which embodies its own shopping experience within the JCPenny department store.
MNG by Mango is a cheap chic line of trendy European styles in women’s clothing and accessories.
Call It Spring, a division of the Aldo Group, features contemporary shoes and handbag fashions for women.
The entire renovations for the 80,283-square-foot store cost $800,000 and will make the shop’s interior easier to navigate for customers with new lighting fixtures, signage and graphics to improve visibility.
Other new additions include an updated jewelry department and the inclusion of JCP Services, an in-store center for customers to return online purchases, complete gift registry and access a variety of other services.
