Mohawk Announces Staff Changes



COHOES>> Mohawk, North America’s largest privately-owned manufacturer of fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing, is pleased to announce a promotion and a new hire.

Macy has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officerresponsible for directing Mohawk’s financial function including management of treasury activities, banking relations, cash management, insurance coverage, ERISA/pension, credit agreements and internal and external financial reporting.  Macy began with Mohawk as Vice President, Corporate Treasurer in 2012. Prior to his position at Mohawk, Macy was audit partner at KPMG LLP for 22 years, and earlier in his career was a member of IBM’s technical accounting group. Macy is a licensed Certified Public Accountant with a BA degree in Accounting from Siena College. Macy resides in Saratoga Springs, New York.

Smusz, Bob 3 9 15Bob Smusz has joined Mohawk as Sales & Marketing Manager, Retail Channel. With over 30 years of sales and operations experience, Smusz has previously served as Vice President Operations with Xpedx/International Paper and Regional Vice President with Federated Department Stores, where he began his career. Smusz resides in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
