NATION’S TOP COMMUNITY ADVANTAGE LENDER

Albany, NY—The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has presented The 504 Company, also known as Empire State Certified Development Corporation, with its 2014 Community Advantage Award as the nation’s top Community Advantage lender. The 504 Company topped all other Community Advantage lenders in the nation by approving 67 loans to startup and existing small businesses worth over $8.6 million dollars.

The Community Advantage Lender Award is given to organizations which provide loans to small businesses in underserved markets, so that such businesses may meet their credit, management and technical assistance needs.
