First Condominium Project Completed in Brunswick
We got a call Friday from John Mainello, who is involved in local real estate. He said that after many years of discussion (note this 2010 Brunswick Planning Board document about the project), the Brunswick Meadows condominium project - the first condos in Brunswick - will have its ribbon cutting on Sept. 16.
The project, with units under $200,000, is located off Route 142/Grange Road near the border of Troy and Brunswick. (The condos are so new, the Brunswick Meadows Way address is not yet recognized by GPS, as I found out when using Google Maps.)
The site is about 18 acres and units are about 1,300 square feet, according to a listing with RealtyUSA. Features: two bedrooms, two baths, range/oven, dishwasher, forced air heat, natural gas heat, attached parking, off street parking, one-car garage, vinyl siding shingle exterior, stone exterior, patio, cul-de-sac location, lawn sprinkler, cable television available, country kitchen, dining area, eat-in kitchen, handicap access, wall to wall carpeting, living and dining room combo, walk-in closets, asphalt shingle roof, slab basement, public sewer, and public water. The school district is Lansingburgh.
The ribbon cutting, planned for 11:30am, is expected with Rensselaer County Executive Kathy Jimino and other dignitaries.
