Christian store celebrates 30 years

The family owned Christian Retail Store is celebrating 30 years of business and ministry in the Capital Region.

With gratefulness to God, The Living Word Parable Christian Store will celebrate its 30 year anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 27.  The community is invited for an all-day event-filled celebration
which includes drawings for great products, activities for children, and as always, a great sale as well as a FREE gift for first customers of the day. Local authors will be present to meet customers and discuss their books. Children will have an opportunity to learn how to pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child as well as learn about the ministry of Lifewater and the importance of clean water in other countries.

Activities begin at 10 a.m. at 952 Troy-Schenectady Rd. in the Peter Harris Plaza in Latham, and continue throughout the day. Drawings will be held all day for products including Bibles, books, music and gift products. The Living Word has moved and expanded four times throughout its 30 years of business and ministry.

The store began in Defreestville with a small space, moved to East Greenbush and is now in its seventh  year in the Peter Harris Plaza in Latham.

Owners Rich and Debbie Cretaro thank all their loyal and faithful customers for their prayers and support for them and the store.
