The Saratoga Paint and Sip Studio on Henry Street will host its grand opening at 6 p.m. June 16. There will be cocktails, light hors d'oeuvres and give-aways.
The studio pairs alcoholic beverages with classes taught by local artists. If you go, the idea is to start with a blank canvas and emerge with your very own replica of Munch's The Scream, Monet's Water Lilies or Van Gogh's Starry Night. (Or at least something that looks like a replica when you're a couple glasses of Cabernet deep.)
Catherine Hover, a managing partner in the studio, said then that she wanted to be open for a while and work out the kinks before holding a grand opening. See the story we ran in April when the studio was getting ready to open its doors.
