Annual Meeting and Discover Troy event
Takk house| Monday, May 9 | 5pm - 8pm
Join us at the Takk House (55 Third St.) as we network, mingle, and wrap up our 2015 year. This year we will unveil the State of the Downtown Troy report, a 20-plus page report filled with demographics, information, infographics, and facts about downtown Troy. Want to be a part of the action? Apply to be a sponsor of the event to receive copies of the report, ad space, and exhibition space at the event, or let us know that you want to exhibit your downtown Troy business.

The Atrium, 4 3rd Street
Join us every Saturday morning in The Atrium alongside the Troy Waterfront Farmer's Market from 9:00 to 2:00! The Makers Market is composed of artisans from across our region, selling their unique goods to the patrons of Troy. Come see what they have to offer.
Spend the afternoon wandering around downtown Troy to visit all of our Troy Makers and retailers who have their own shops too!
April Troy Night Out
April is when TNO gets to celebrate sustainability, upcycling, and recycling. Join us for a night out in historic downtown Troy to learn how many of our businesses and organizations promote eco-friendly products and techniques. Compete in a repurposing project brought to you by the Troy BID and Funcycled boutique.

On Tuesday, April 19, Culinary Square, a kitchen goods retail store, will open at 251 River Street. Culinary Square will sell kitchen goods from brands such as All Clad, Messermeister, J.K. Adams, and Staub for new and seasoned chefs alike. To celebrate our opening in April, we will be having an event for Troy Night OutFriday, April 29 and we will be hosting a number of brand reps for demonstrations. We are so excited for Culinary Square to join the Downtown Troy business community!

29 Third St. in the Keenan Building is home to Kathleen's Fiber Arts, owned and operated by artist Kathleen Brown. Shop one-of-a-kind designs in this charming boutique where you will find rugs, blankets, shawls, scarves, and handbags, all hand-woven by Kathleen on her two weaving looms. Kathleen began weaving in 1986 and soon turned her
hobby into a profession. She also makes her own jewelry using Kumihimo, a Japanese form of braid-making. Prior to opening her shop in 2015, Kathleen had a shop in Mississippi for three years, and previously worked in construction for over 30 years as a project manager and corporate scheduler. With Mother's Day right around the corner, stop in to say say hi to Kathleen and shop her hand-woven goods as well as books, satin and silk cords, luscious yarns, knitting needles and looms!
Kathleens's Fiber Arts offers classes:
Weaving (Rigid heddle, Inkle, 8 shaft), Knitting, Crochet, Spinning (Wheel & Drop spindle), Needle felting. All classes are one on one, you name the time. We are also openWednesday evenings 4-7 pm for classes or Sit and Knit.

Wednesday Night Vinyl Club #2 was a success, can't wait for this month's! We'll be extending the hours a little bit from now on and staying open til 10pm or later. Our back patio will (weather permitting) be open this month as well - working on getting speakers out there asap! And as always, once things get bumping we will be limiting plays to a couple of songs in order to get through all sign ups!

All Spring Session classes are for ages 18+, and we offer discounts for local college students. Also, we are VERY excited to announce our first ever TDF Choreo Ball scheduled for April 23! This is a very special event featuring all TDF student-produced choreography under the mentorship of TDF instructors, presenting provocative work dealing with ideas of relationships, struggle, nothingness, confidence and just plain fun through contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and improv.
