Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce announces Ireland trip
This year, the Saratoga Race Track will be celebrating the 150th year of racing in Saratoga Springs. The Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce 2013 Annual International Travel Trip has been organized to tie into this year of celebrating racing.
The 2013 trip is a 10-day adventure to Ireland
November 2-11. Travelers will experience and visit some of the ways the Emerald
Isle and Saratoga County
are connected through the thoroughbred industry. Participants will take a
tour of the famous Curragh Racecourse in County
Kildare, and will also visit some
of the most important stud farms in the world, including the Coolmore Stud Farm
and the Irish National Stud Farm.
The
thoroughbred industry is only a part of all the sites and stops the group tour
will make. The trip will include other cultural must-sees, and free time will allow
for personal excursions, rounds of golf and shopping.
The cost for members is $2,999 and includes
airfare, deluxe accommodations, many meals and the entrance fees to the
sites. This price is guaranteed
through July 15; reservations after that date will be subject to
availability.
